OUR STORY

WHO WE ARE

Lohas Beach Villa is a private beachfront villa located by the pristine shores of the Indian Ocean located at the heart of the culturally and scenically rich city of Kalutara. We have been welcoming guests since 2015 with a simple goal: to offer a fun, family-friendly beachfront escape that doesn’t compromise on character.

Our property is a charming, refurbished heritage building featuring 5 bedrooms and 5 baths. Rather than erasing its history, we chose to embrace the original architectural design, ensuring that staying here feels authentic, grounded, and distinct from the typical hotel experience. We wanted to create accommodations that feel less like a “hotel room” and more like your own private summer home.

But Lohas is about more than just the rooms, it is about the life you live outdoors. We designed our vast garden space to be a playground for all ages, complete with a swimming pool, badminton and basketball courts, and our signature outdoor hut for relaxing evenings for you to indulge while enjoying the golden sunset views.

We take great pride in the experiences we create. Thanks to the support of our visitors, we have maintained a consecutive guest review score of 8.0/10 on both Booking.com and Google for years from 2015 to date. This feedback drives us to continue improving our facilities and service every single season.
